LVOpera selects Hannah Cho as the recipient of the Young Artist Performance Program Award

LVOpera has selected Hannah Cho as the recipient of the Young Artist Performance Program award for 2026. Ms. Cho’s role of Rosina in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville was critically acclaimed to the delight of nearly 6500 students at twenty Tri-Valley elementary schools.

Hannah Cho, soprano, obtained a Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree from Seoul National University (South Korea). Her performance repertoire spans the centuries from new works as in the 21st century David Huang’s An American Soldier to early 19th century Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. Ms. Cho sang in the premiere performance which was nominated for a Grammy – 2026. Ms. Cho’s repertoire, in addition to more than a dozen operas, includes Oratorios and Concerts in the United States and South Korea. Ms. Cho’s First Place and Second Place awards are vast!

Ms. Cho participated the Merola Opera Program for young artists , with full scholarship and stipend, with opera studies, coaching, and performances , in 2024.
