Biography

Best known for his record-breaking run as the title character in The Phantom of the Opera, Franc D’Ambrosio performed the role more than 2,100 times — earning the nickname “The Iron Man of the Mask.” His remarkable career spans stage and screen, including his role as Anthony Corleone in The Godfather Part III, where he sang the Academy Award–winning theme “Speak Softly Love (Brucia la Terra).”

Franc has toured internationally with his acclaimed one-man shows, performed alongside artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bolton, and Barry Manilow, and was knighted by the President of Italy for his contributions to the arts and Italian culture.
