Livermore Valley Opera continues to visit schools and expose a younger generation to the art of Opera!
This season we will be presenting the opera “The Box”, an original opera based on the music of W. A. Mozart. In addition, we invite professional singers and principal artists from our main stage productions to work with high school, college choruses and young singers.
Our dress rehearsals are open, with free admission, to students and teachers, allowing our students to experience a live opera.
We are proud to say that by the end of the 2018-2019 season we’ll be visiting in 24 different schools and colleges, bringing the art of opera to 10,000 students. Our continued outreach goal is to enrich the lives of as many students as we can each year, and we are fulfilling this goal!

Community Outreach (For 2018-2019 season)
At Livermore Valley Opera, our belief is that opera should be introduced and be accessible to everyone. In an effort to foster and fulfill our mission to encourage a wider appreciation of opera in the Tri-Valley, Livermore Valley Opera offers an array of outreach programs, and constantly seeks to develop a relationship with our community by expanding our activities.
Our OperaLIVE! program presents our talented and personable principals to the community, where they perform opera arias and duets from Livermore Valley Opera’s productions along with selections from other operas and genres, including musical theater.
In 2018-2019 season, principals from “The Barber of Seville” and “The Abduction from the Seraglio” productions present free concerts in Dublin and Pleasanton libraries.
